What was your favorite field study?
"I would attend the Palisades because that was second on my list and I didn't get it. I also would've liked to do the rock scramble that was a part of it." Lucio Stagnitti
"What happened at Fossil is that I established a longer relationship with someone because when we were at school we didn't want to be friends; but now, we had so much fun that we didn't care." Ben Uchiyama
"I think that I would want to try the archaeology hike next time because other people who went on it said it was pretty fun. I would also want to do the geology hike again." Kyndra Kittle
"My favorite field study was geology. The views were amazing and it was actually easier than the other hikes. So I would want to do it again." Iris Cebula

How did this trip build and sustain relationships within our community?
"I think I got to know my friends better outside of school. And I got to know other people. Which is good because at school you don't really have the time to talk much. But in Fossil we got to have more freedom with not much rules." Erika Tellez
"I think that we did build and sustain meaningful relationships by spending a longer amount of time with everybody." Kyndra Kittle
"I may know a few people slightly better now, because sometimes I was doing activities with people I normally wouldn't choose to be with in groups." Iris Cebula

Should level 4 students go back to fossil? Explain.
"I think fossil is a valuable experience because you interact with a different environment then you're used to. You continue using the educational process but in the field versus the classroom. And, you become a closer community as a level because of this shared experience." Lucio Stagnitti
"The main reason we should go back to Fossil is campfire because it gets everybody together, having fun." Ben Uchiyama
"It helps students apply information they learned in science class. For instance, I was able to locate meanders in a stream, or see that red rocks contained oxidized iron. It makes the knowledge feel real, instead of just like a lesson." Iris Cebula
