Social Studies:
We have begun our study of the Industrial Revolution and the working conditions for people during the late 1800s. It is the last chapter of our short unit. The students will have the test on Monday, April 22nd.
Students will also begin their Spring Research project, Research a Bill. They will research a bill that is currently being debated in the Oregon Legislature. Students will write a persuasive letter to a sitting Senator or Representative asking them to support or not support a current bill. The goal is learning how to write a persuasive letter and will help students to learn more about current legislation that might affect them in the future.
