We began our Central and Southwest Asia Unit today. Students will be focusing on economics throughout this unit, especially as we look at oil and the disappearing Aral Sea. In addition, students need to find a news article that focuses on a global issue in 2020. This current event article will be used to present a persuasive speech. All students must complete this speech by the end of this semester.
