Students will be working on the 2nd draft of their World Traveler research project. Please refer to this assignment for more information. This project will culminate in a completed paper, travel brochure, and presentation! So much excitement!
As this project only takes some of our class time, students will also have the opportunity to explore future career options. 7th graders will present their chosen careers at the end, while 8th graders will learn to live on a budget based on their career choice. This unit helps students picture their own future and think about next steps for college or apprenticeships.

Our next unit will move away from the textbook and ISN. Students will be studying the history of Ancient Japan, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Once we complete those units, we will enter World War 1, World War 2, and the Holocaust. Students will not be using their ISNs again until March! We will keep them in the classroom. This means that there will not be a lot of homework, but there will be papers collecting in their binders.
Feel free to go through the materials together, but please make sure the materials return to the classroom each day!
