Goal Setting Conferences provide an opportunity for parents and teachers to talk with the student about their goals and needs as they prepare for high school. We would love to see all of you at those Conferences.
Language Arts:
This week is a week of reflection and pause to make sure students are feeling prepared and ready for the first Lit Circle and major writing assignments. Students should turn in their Origin Story TODAY! By Wednesday, we will be discussing the Genocide/Nobel Peace Prize Research Paper. The work load will increase in the next couple weeks and students should be communicating their readiness for this change at conferences.

Social Studies:
This week we will complete our study of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Time flies, but the students have been focused and hard working. Both classes have asked thoughtful and engaging questions about this challenging time in Europe’s history. The test for this unit will be Wednesday, October 16th (unless we need more time to finish the work).
