Everyone is progressing so well! We finished our first unit in Language Arts and students did well. We learned so much about the Indigenous people, Kalapuya, of our region. Students then connected short stories to their understanding of what it means to be a global citizen. Every student participated in a class discussion and shared powerful ideas.

Social Studies:
Our move from Pacific Islands to Antarctica was cold, but very interesting! Students are enjoying the lessons about new and intriguing places on Earth. We will finish our first unit next week. Students received this Study Guide in class for our first test on Tuesday, October 12. We will learn how to study and prepare for this test.
